How it works

Three steps. That’s the whole app.

01

Log it fast

Save the date, time, severity, and any notes about food, stress, school, sleep, or symptoms.

02

Review patterns

Use the calendar and stats to see whether migraines cluster around certain weeks or severities.

03

Share when useful

Export a clean report for appointments or conversations with caregivers, teachers, or clinicians.

Tips

Getting better tracking data.

Log close to the event

Try to log the migraine the same day. Time and context are easier to remember while fresh.

Use notes for triggers

Write down sleep, meals, hydration, stress, school, sports, weather, or screen time.

Reminders only if they help

The 7 PM check-in works for some families, but the app works fine without it.

Review the calendar monthly

Patterns show up over weeks, not single entries. The month view is a good rhythm.

Export before appointments

Create a PDF before seeing a doctor so everything is ready without opening the app mid-visit.

Keep it short

A fast, consistent log beats a detailed one you stop using. Perfect notes aren’t the goal.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does Migraine Logger collect personal data?

No. The free app does not require an account and does not include ads, analytics, or in-app social features.

Is this only for kids?

It was designed for kids and teens, but adults can use the free app too if they want a simpler migraine log.

Can I back up entries?

Yes. iCloud backup is optional and encrypted. The app also offers export tools when users want a shareable file.

Do reminders happen automatically?

Only if the user turns on Daily Check-In in Settings and allows notifications. The default experience has no reminders.
